What is A Ret HC?
A Ret HC is a combination type of medication containing hydroquinone, tretinoin and hydrocortisone acetate. The cream can be used for the gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions. The medication is used to treat skin darkening conditions such as freckles, melasma, age spots and even scars caused by acne.
How is A Ret HC used?
A Ret HC should be applied topically to the affected area once daily in the evening or as otherwise directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy. Prior to applying the medication, wash and dry your hands and the affected area with water. Apply a small amount of the cream to the affected area and gently massage it into the skin until it disappears.
Patients using A Ret HC may encounter unwanted side effects such as:
- Dry skin
- Stinging, irritation, itching or burning at application site
- Hypersensitivity to light
- Hair thinning
Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or worsen.
Only apply for the treatment of acne scars and not for the treatment of acne.
