What is Depilox-100?
Depilox 100 works by increasing certain natural substances in the brain to maintain mental balance. The active ingredient amoxapine is considered a tricyclic antidepressant type of medication. The medication is used in the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorder, bipolar disorder and depression. Some patients may also use it to treat schizophrenic psychosis.

How is Depilox-100 used?
Depilox 100 is usually taken 1 to 3 times per day or as directed by a doctor. The tablets can be taken with or without food but should be taken with plenty of water. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the treatment. Patients prescribed over 300mg per day are recommended to take the tablets in divided doses. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor, even if you feel well, as abruptly stopping the treatment may cause a relapse in the patient’s condition.

Adverse effects
Depilox 100 may cause unwanted side effects such as:

• Increased appetite and weight change
• Nausea
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Headaches
• Dizziness
• Drowsiness

Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:

• Nightmares
• Difficulty urinating
• Blurred vision
• Tremors
• Confusion
• Irregular heartbeat
• Insomnia

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

Depilox-100 is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.

The correct dosage and prescription commonly depend on the patient and the condition being treated. Do not adjust your dosage without the approval of your health care provider. This product is only for use as prescribed and instructed.
