Rectogesic Ointment containing the active ingredient glyceryl trinitrate is considered a nitrate type of medication. The ointment is used to help relieve pain associated with anal fissures, a tear in the skin lining the anal canal often caused by passing hard stools. The medication works by reducing anal pressure and increasing blood flow to help the tear heal.

Redoxon is a tablet form of the food supplement vitamin C (ascorbic acid). The active ingredient vitamin C is considered an antioxidant that is essential to strengthen and maintain the structure of bones, teeth and connective tissue. The medication is commonly used with people to enhance wound healing, prevent and treat scurvy and other symptoms of mild deficiency. Some people may require enhanced vitamin C requirements if they are recovering from surgery, heavy smokers, breastfeeding or are pregnant.

Relenza can be used to treat certain types of influenza (flu) in patients who have had the symptoms of the flu for less than 2 days. It can help reduce influenza symptoms such as fatigue, body aches, headaches, fever or chills, sore throat, cough and stuffy noses by preventing the flu virus from growing. Some people may also use it to prevent the flu if they are exposed to the virus but do not yet have symptoms.

Ribamune (Ribavirin) is an antiviral medication of the nucleoside analogue class. It is used to treat treatment chronic hepatitis C in cases where the patient has not previously been treated with an interferon. Ribavirin is never taken alone. It is always prescribed as part of a full treatment plan for people with chronic hepatitis C, usually in combination therapy with peginterferon.
