What is GentaSpray?
GentaSpray is indicated for the treatment of any infections or superficial lesions that are caused by bacterial susceptible to gentamycin. It is a topical spray containing an antibiotic (gentamycin) to treat the infections and an anti-inflammtory (betamethasone) to recuse any ithcin and inflammation in the area.

How is GentaSpray used?
Each mL of GentaSpray contains 0.57 mg gentamicin and 0.284 mg betamethasone in a suspension of isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben and purified water.

Each bottle contains 120mL and each spray from the bottle provides 0.7 mL of GentaSpray.

Apply two sprays of GentaSpray to the affected area from 3 to 6 inches away. This can be repeated two to four times per day for seven days.

Any excess hair should be removed from the infected area before use.

Adverse effects
GentaSpray is unlikely to cause serious side effects if the correct dosage is used and treatment does not last for longer than 7 days.

Repeated or prolonged use of corticosteroids in dogs can lead to cushing's syndrome, delayed wound healing and immunosuppression.

Some pets can experience side effects such as increased thirst and urination, panting, diarrhea, vomiting and behavior changes when taking corticosteroids.

Warnings
Only use GentaSpray to treat infections caused from bacteria that are susceptible to gentamycin.

Use Gentamycin for no longer than 7 days unless advised by your vet. Wound healing can be delayed if treatment exceeds 7 days. Additional side effects can also occur.

Adrenocorticoid overdosage can result if this product is ingested. Only apply GentaSpray topically.

Corticosteroid in pregnant dogs can lead to premature birth and/or birth defects. Have your vet check that your dog is not pregnant before using GentaSpray.
