What is Megabrom Eye Drop?
Megabrom Eye Drops containing the active ingredient bromfenac is classified as a nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the effects of certain natural substances that cause pain and inflammation in the eye. It is used to treat pain and swelling caused by cataract surgery.

How is Megabrom Eye Drop used?
Megabrom Eye Drops should be used starting the day before surgery. The treatment should be continued 1 to 2 times per day for the following 2 weeks. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the medication. To apply the medication, tilt the head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye, look up and away from the dropper and squeeze a drop before closing the eyes. Gently press down on the inside corner of the eye with your finger to prevent the solution from draining into the tear duct. Repeat the process for additional doses in each eye as needed.
