What is Bilberry-MIC?
Bilberry-MIC is an extract of dried bilberry (177mg) with a standardized amount of anthocyanosides of 25% (44.25mg). Bilberry extract is an excellent supplement for maintaining good eye health having been used for this since it was used by fighter pilots in World War 2 to improve night vision. The anthocyanosides in bilberry extract, are chemical compounds that have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Eye fatigue, poor night vision, age-related vision problems, red or itchy eyes, and eye strain can all be reduced with the use of Bilberry-MIC.
Bilberry-MIC works in three different ways:
- It improves vascular delivery to the eye which increases the nutrient supply. Good eye health of your eyes depends on nutrient supply from the blood.
- Bilberry-MIC contains anthocyanosides which deliver antioxidants to the eye, helping to limit the amount of free radicals and reduce damage. Free radicals can damage your eyes.
- The anthocyanosides also have an anti-inflammatory effect.
How is Bilberry-MIC used?
One capsule of Bilberry-MIC contains 177mg of dried bilberry extract and 44.25mg of anthocyanidins. A pac of Bilberry-MIC contains 20 capsules.
Bilberry extract can be taken up to three times aday. Swallow a capsule whole with a glass of water. Taking the capsule with a meal can reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Anthocyanosides can prevent blood platelets from sticking together. If you are taking any anticoagulant drugs like warfarin, use caution when taking Bilberry-MIC (Dry Bilberry Extract). |
