What is Bimat Eye Drops?
Bimat Eye Drops containing the active ingredient bimatoprost is considered a prostaglandin analogs type of medication. It works by lowering the pressure in the eye by increasing the flow of natural eye fluids out of the eye. Regulating eye pressure can help treat certain types of glaucoma and help prevent blindness. Some people may also use the medication to lengthen and thicken eyelashes.

How is Bimat Eye Drops used?
Bimat Eye Drops is usually applied to the affected eye once per day in the evening or as directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the condition of the patient and their response to the therapy. To apply the eye drops, tilt the head back slightly and pull down on the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye, squeeze out a drop and close the eye. Gently press a finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute to keep the liquid from draining into the tear duct.
