Jardiance (Empagliflozin) - 10mg (10 Tablets)

What is Jardiance?
If you have type-2 diabetes mellitus (adult-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes) Jardiance 10mg may help to control your blood sugar levels. It can be taken by adults with type-2 diabetes mellitus (adult-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes). It contains the active ingredient Empagliflozin.

How is Jardiance used?
Jardiance 10mg is a strip of 10 tablets. This is the dosage most often used as a starting dose. Jardiance is also available as a 25mg tablet.

Adverse effects
The following side effects should be considered serious. If you develop any of these, let your doctor know right away. You may need to try a different treatment option.

• dehydration
• ketoacidosis
• Serious urinary tract infections
• yeast infections of the vagina or penis

Jardiance can also cause hypoglycemia or high cholesterol. Make sure to have regular blood tests to check these.

Warnings
Jardiance can be used by most people with type-2 diabetes, however the following groups should check with a doctor before use:

• pregnant women, women who are trying to become pregnant or women who are breastfeeding.
• patients with kidney problems, liver problems or pancreatic problems
• people with a history of urinary tract infections
