What is Nadibact Cream?
Nadibact Cream containing the active ingredient nadifloxacin belongs to a type of medication called topical fluoroquinolone antibiotics. The medication works by inhibiting the enzyme DNA gyrase to prevent bacterial multiplication. It is mainly prescribed to treat acne vulgaris and other skin infections with susceptible bacteria.

How is Nadibact Cream used?
Nadibact Cream should be applied topically twice per day or as advised by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and the length of treatment as it will depend on the patient’s condition and their response to the therapy. Prior to applying the medication, wash and dry your hands and the affected area thoroughly. Spread a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and gently massage it in until it disappears. Do not discontinue the medication without completing the prescribed cycle as it may allow the bacteria to return and cause it to be more difficult to treat.

Adverse effects
Patients using Nadibact Cream may encounter unwanted side effects such as:

  • Itching, redness or irritation at application site
  • Feeling of warmth on the skin
  • Increased sweating
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Dryness of the skin

Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or worsen.
