How is Parit used?
Parit (Rabeprazole) tablets are swallowed whole without chewing or crushing them. The doses and the duration of the treatment depend on the disease:

Gastric ulcer in the exacerbation phase - 20mg once per day for 4 weeks, when healing is slow the treatment should be extended by additional 4 weeks.

Duodenal ulcer - 10 or 20mg once per day for 6 weeks, when healing is slow the treatment should be extended by additional 6 weeks.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease - 20mg once per day for 4-8 weeks, subsequent maintenance therapy of 10-20mg once per day can be prescribed later on.

Helicobacter pylori eradication as part of the triple therapy: 20mg of Rabeprazole twice per day, 500 mg of Clarithromycin per day and 1,000mg of Amoxycillin per day for 7 days (other eradication regimens are also possible).
