What is Regen-D 150 Gel?
Regen-D 150 is considered an epidermal growth factor and is a new generation therapy for diabetic foot ulcers. It contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids that help stimulate cell growth and help nourish skin cells. It is indicated for topical healing of neuropathic diabetic foot ulcers. Some patients may also use the medication for the rejuvenation of skin for cosmetic reasons.
How is Regen-D 150 Gel used?
Regen-D 150 Gel should be applied topically to the full ulcer area and should not be consumed orally. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the size of the ulcer area and the patient’s response to the medication. Spread the gel evenly on the affected part using a sterile cotton swab twice daily until the ulcer heals.
Adverse effects
Patients using Regen-D 150 Gel may encounter unwanted side effects such as:
- Irritation, burning or stinging sensation of the skin
- Dry or flaking skin
- Thinning or sensitive skin at application site
- Discoloration of the skin
- Darkened pigmentation

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Regen-D 150 Gel is not always suitable for all patients.
