What is Risofos?

Some patients may also use the medication to treat Paget’s disease of bone.

How is Risofos used?
Risofos should be taken orally once per week or as directed by a doctor. The tablets should be taken with a full glass of water in the morning before consuming breakfast. The medication should always be taken with plain water and not mineral water, dairy products or juice as it may interfere with the absorption of the drug. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage as it will depend on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to the medication. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not split, crushed, chewed or held in the mouth for any length of time.
