Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment is usually applied topically 2 to 4 times per day unless otherwise directed by a veterinarian. A thin film of the ointment should be applied to the inside of the lower eyelid then gently hold the eyelids shut and massage to disperse the medication. Contact a veterinarian for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the petís condition and their response to the therapy. If the pet requires additional medication to the same eye, wait at least 10 minutes prior to the next application.
Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment is generally very well tolerated with minimal side effects. Contact a veterinarian immediately should you notice any unusual or bothersome symptoms with the pet.
