What is ZyHCG?
ZYHCG is a hormone commonly referred to as HCG, which has a range of uses. These include promoting weight loss, treating both male and female patients experiencing fertility problems, and treating young boys suffering from delayed puberty. It operates by affecting ovulation in women and increasing sperm production and count in men. This product comes packaged complete with one sealed single-use needle suitable for administering this medication.
How is ZyHCG used?
ZYHCG should be used exactly as instructed by your health care provider as over-application or misuse can cause complications. It is typically prescribed three times per week to treat men or as a one-time single dose for women. This regimen is be based on your health condition, symptoms, weight, and response to previous treatments. Never self-medicate or deviate from these directions as this can cause serious health problems.
Administration is usually carried out by your health care provider or another health care professional. If you are required to perform your own injection, ensure that you are thoroughly instructed in the correct procedure to avoid misuse. Check the medication before administration to make sure that it is not cloudy, discolored, or containing suspended particles as these can be signs of contamination. Use of contaminated medication can cause severe health problems, so you must always replace medication if this has occurred. Mix the correct proportion of the medication and the provided sodium chloride solution as directed by your health care provider. Disinfect the injection site and slowly administer the medicine directly into the muscle allowing it to dissipate. The medication must be administered as soon as possible after the solution has been mixed.
Your health care provider may suggest that you attend regular appointments to monitor your progress. Always attend these as adjustments to your treatment may need to be made after observing your response to medication. Your health care provider may decide to adjust your dosage or frequency of administration until the optimum dosage and frequency is found. Ask your pharmacist or health care provider if you have any questions about the medicine and its administration.
Swelling, bruising, or irritation at the injection site may occur. These are completely normal, however you should inform your health care provider if any persist.
As with any medication, the use of ZYHCG can cause adverse effects for some patients. These may be mild or severe and should be disclosed to your health care provider as soon as possible. Some adverse effects may require an adjustment of your dosage or frequency of administration. If serious health problems are indicated, medical assistance may also be necessary.
Possible adverse effects include:
- Dizziness or fatigue
- Nausea or vomiting
More serious adverse effects that require medical attention are:
- Swelling or sensitivity of the breast/chest area
- Weight gain
- Unusual swelling (edema) or urinary retention
- Blood clotting leading to thrombosis
- Changes in mood or behavior (Depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts)
- Overstimulation of the ovaries in women
Do not begin using ZYHCG if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding, tumors of the pituitary or hypothalamic glands, cancer of the breasts, uterine, ovaries, or if you have prostate or testicular cancer . Also discuss if you have any conditions that may cause complications while using the medication such as history of migraines, polycystic ovary syndrome, heart disease, seizure disorders, thrombosis, asthma, or reduced kidney function. These conditions can require reduced doses or other changes to the regimen to prevent health problems from occurring.
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
ZYHCG is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.
The correct dosage and prescription commonly depend on the patient and the condition being treated. Do not adjust your dosage without the approval of your health care provider. This product is only for use as prescribed and instructed.
