    | Manufacturer: | Pharmtak |  What is Natak Eye Drops?Natak Eye Drops are an opthalmic form of an antifungal medicine called Natamycin. It is used to treat fungal infections of the eye.
 How is Natak Eye Drops used?Natak Eye Drops comes packaged in a 5mL bottle containing 50mg of natamycin. Included is a dropper to make applying the drops easier.
 For more severe infections most people start taking one drop every one to two hours. After a few days or when improvement has been noticed, this is often reduced to one drop every three to four hours. For less severe infections, this lower dose can be used throughout. Treatment with natamycin is usually for a period of 14-21 days. Your doctor will tell you exactly when to stop applying the drops. To apply Natak Eye Drops follow these steps: 
  Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the bottle or applying the dropsOpen the lid of the bottle and withdraw a small quantity of solution into the dropperHold your lower eyelid and pull out slightly which will form a small pocket to catch the dropDrop only a single drop into the infected eyeAvoid contact between the dropper and the eye to avoid contamination of the bottle Adverse effectsIf you think you are showing signs or symptoms of an allergy to natamycin, contact your doctor immediately.
 Other serious side effects are very rare. You may experience some redness, stinging or burning in the eye. Other rare side effects reported during treatment with Natamycin include::

 Regular check of the recovery of the eye may be needed to check the drops are working as intended. In some cases the dosage may need to be adjusted, or treatment stopped and replaced by treatment with another product other than Natamycin Eye Drops. |
