How is Niflan used?
Niflan is usually dropped into the affected eye 4 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient's condition and their response to the therapy. Prior to applying the medication, wash your hands with soap. Pull down the lower lid of the eye being treated to create a pouch and tilt the head up. Slowly squeeze 1 to 2 drops into the pouch and close your eyes for a few seconds without blinking. Place a finger on the inside corner of the eye at the tear ducts and gently apply pressure to prevent any leakage. Wait at least 5 minutes if you require use other eye drops at the same time.
